Reminder that the AGM is on Sunday 26th November, 9,30am meet for 10am start at Old Brentwoods CC - CM15 9SE
There are only 5 proposals this year all outlined in the document.
Full members - please discuss them with your committees and come ready to vote on them.
Brief notes on each proposal below
1 - This is to allow associate member clubs whose current league structure has been disrupted to have cricket for their lower XIs.
It is likely 5 XIs would be invited, all of the correct playing standard and who play at similar grounds to other teams already in the lower divisions.
The entrants will be assessed each year - and are not guaranteed future invitations.
2 - 9 clubs applied to be Full Members. Each club provided an in depth proposal as to why they should be accepted as Full Members.
Each club also received a site visit from the committee.
Newham CC - have two superb pitches and are looking to bring in multiple XIs into the league. They have been one of our longest serving Associate Member clubs.
3 - Clean up of naming of divisions.
4- Clean up rule wording.
5- Admin point asked to be added by the ECB. The league already meets the majority of the criteria outlined.
Final reminder is that each member club (full and associate) needs to attend the meeting, or face a fine.
