Dear ##firstname##,
The league committee trusts you have had an enjoyable season, one of the hottest on record. Your club has no doubt relied upon the same helpers who have been there through this summer’s heatwaves or previous seasons floods. Do you have ‘’special’’ worker who deserves the Andrew Jenner memorial award. It’s time to put you thinking caps on and send your nominations. There is no reason why you can’t nominate a previous unsuccessful nomination. The committee is pleased to advise that once again one of our sponsors, namely Messrs Clarc Recruitment will sponsor the award for the unsung ''non playing'' hero. The winner will receive the Andrew Jenner memorial trophy plus a Marks and Spencer’s voucher for £100.00. Perhaps your nomination will be the scorer, groundsman, caterer, colts manager. It's entirely up to you but the nominee shall not have played in any cricket match this season.
The nominations must be received by 17.00 hours on Sunday 28th September with the winner being announced at the league dinner on the 9th October. We look forward to receiving your nominations, please give as much information as you can, not just one line. Please submit your nominations using the form linked to below. We are looking forward to reading your nominations and recommend that the nominations are a minimum of 100 words in order to do justice to the contributions made by the nominees to cricket at your club. Many thanks
Andrew Pearson
