To facilitate the training of new umpires and keep those of us who have been umpiring for a while up to speed, the Brentwood ACO will be holding a series of 7 x 2hr training sessions commencing Monday, 20th October 2025 at 8pm, running through to Monday, December 1st 2025 inclusive, at: Brentwood CC clubhouse: The Old County Ground Shenfield Road Brentwood Essex CM15 8AJ Open to all, we intend to run an introduction level course before Christmas and then go into more detail in the New Year. Most of the course materials have been developed and provided for us by the ECB ACO and we deliver the course on their behalf. Costs are minimal, a £10 subscription and £2 per week to pay for venue hire. Courses will also be run at Wanstead CC and CPD sessions will be available at Southend.
