Update
It was great to get the league season up and started last week. Congratulations to those clubs who got off to a winning start in the League Cup or 1st XI Division 3.
Covid Regulations
It was reassuring to hear that most clubs are adhering to Covid-19 regulations. One issue that continues to raise its head is that spectators should not be attending matches. Please make sure to inform members of the correct procedures.
There has been one report of a club being visited by Covid Enforcement officers - the club was found to be doing procedures correctly - however we know of other sports clubs who have been closed due to breaches - so please make sure you have your club in order.
Registering Players
With the full season for all XIs just a week away please can all clubs make sure to register players in advance. A reminder that overseas players cannot play until they have been cleared on Play Cricket.
Balls
There are still some issues with balls and stumps - I will be writing separately when a plan is finalised for getting balls to clubs this week.
