The Hamro Foundation Essex League are pleased to announce that the England and Wales Cricket Board and Marylebone Cricket Club have partnered with our 50 clubs to trial their new two stump wicket concept.
During the 2022 season all wickets will be of two stumps at the striker and non-strikers end. The concept is being explored to give batters more time at the crease per innings while eliminating the leg stump.
