A quick update - I know many clubs will be having selection meetings this evening.
Time Games For All Divisions Start This Week
I wanted to confirm that we will be having Time games as planned this season for all divisions, starting this coming Saturday 12th June.
The standard regulations as spelt out on the website here https://www.essexcricket.com/pages/page_34628/Rules-and-Regulations.aspx will be used.
The only notable change is that the 1st XI Premier Division games are having their lunch break reduced by 10 minutes.
Please can all captains take time and have a read of the regulations.
Please remember to have a clock available to be used for each game.
Covid regulations
A reminder that Covid regulations are still in place this includes -

Sanatising the ball and hands every 6 overs (this is not a league rule, it is an ECB and government regulation)

Teas are still not required to be provided by clubs, the league has already said that we won’t have teas until at least the end of June, we wait for more news from ECB and Government in the next week or so and will let you know if that changes.
