Shepherd Neame Essex League News story

SNEL Update

12 Jun 2020

A very quick update this week,

Many of you will have seen the roadmap released by the ECB this week – the full road map can be seen here https://www.ecb.co.uk/news/1679970/roadmap-for-return-of-recreational-cricket

It doesn't really change anything at the moment from where we currently are - and I share everyone's continued frustration with this. We have an Adult Participation Group and a League Exec meeting next week and if anything new comes from these meetings I will pass that over to you.

To be clear where we are at the moment very basically - is that players can train in groups of a max of 6 and that matches (of all types) are still banned.

Thanks to all of the clubs who joined the Webinar on Tuesday about the new ECB advice – this can be viewed here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bBJUmH0Tmw thanks again to the team at Essex for their continued support and advice during this time.

As ever if any questions please let me know.

Regards

Thomas Clarke
