The league would like to take the opportunity to find out about how member clubs are currently doing and also the members’ thoughts on the future of the season. We have put together a survey that the league exec committee would like all members to fill out.
You can find all the questions on the survey in the attached document – please talk to your committees about the answers you need to give. Then fill out the survey here https://forms.gle/FthvJs1tTjiPLFNq6
We will not share any private information collected from the survey.
Please only one response per club and please don’t email in answers - use this link https://forms.gle/FthvJs1tTjiPLFNq6
Re-Opening Of Nets
There has been a lot of excitement about the re-opening of nets – but also a lot questions from clubs.
Thanks to the County there was an excellent webinar on re-opening nets – with Wanstead and Snaresbrook giving a practical case study of how the reintroduction of nets is possible – this can be viewed here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKSdiqU7EBs&feature=youtu.be
The ECB has also published full guidelines https://www.ecb.co.uk/news/1668576/ecb-guidelines-for-the-use-of-outdoor-cricket-facilities-in-lockdown
And also FAQs https://www.ecb.co.uk/news/1671670
The league want to make it clear to all member clubs that you do not have to open your nets if you don’t think that it is the right thing for your club.
