LEAGUE CUP DRAW/FIXTURES/ RESULTS 2012 WILL BE ON PLAY-CRICKET.


For 1st & 2nd Rounds of the League Cup, it is presumed that the 2nd XI's will play each other as per previous years. If a club does not wish to play these friendly fixtures, they must make certain that Dave Evans
01277 221577 is aware by the end of February.

The Essex Duke League Cup Match Rules & Playing Conditions Click in Word Form

It is the duty of the home club to Liaise with the Umpires Secretary in good time to be sure that two umpires are available for each match from ROUND 3  onwards.
Both teams to arrive at each match with TWO league cup balls. The winners obviously keep their balls for the next round.

ANY CHANGES/ALTERATIONS TO UMPIRE APPOINTMENTS WILL ONLY BE CORRECTED/ALTERED ON THE
LIST BELOW.

Notes to Clubs.

  • Umpires were asked to provide availability for Saturdays for Rounds 1 & 2; they will therefore assume games will be played on Saturdays, at the appointed venue, unless informed otherwise in good time.
  • It is imperative that the Cup Appointments Officer is contacted at the earliest possible stage when seeking to arrange matches for subsequent Rounds. Responsibility for obtaining suitable umpires will be passed to the home club in the event of late notification.
